Remember coming home from school eager to tell your parents about how your day went? My job as an educator is to make sure my students are excited about their learning!
I work at a school where 99% of my kids are army dependents.
My students are some of the sweetest kids around who work hard and strive to do their best every day!
Parents are found facing deployments, field time, or working 14-hour shifts just to come home and tuck their kids into bed. Many of my kids have been in 3 different schools already and they are only in fifth grade!
My Project
A classroom carpet is key to creating a comfortable and inviting classroom. My classroom is like none other! I have created a collaborative, creative and welcoming space by using flexible seating. There are no desks in my classroom and my students long to have a clean carpet where they can stretch out, work, and collaborate with each other.
Having a classroom rug will provide a cozy home-like environment, while giving the students a comfortable seating option.
It will also allow me to keep an eye on my students while I am teaching the lesson.
This classroom carpet will create a community of forward thinking students, ready to have discussions, collaborative talks, and build positive relationships for years to come.
