My Students

We are an inclusion classroom with a wide range of abilities. My favorite aspect of my classroom is the diversity within my room. My students' backgrounds span the globe and they are always willing to share their culture, backgrounds, and experiences. They are motivated to learn and full of energy. Our classroom is a group that becomes a family. We are a team! My students are diverse and need diverse materials to learn and grow in an effective, nurturing environment.

My Project

With these amazing lap desks, my wonderful students can sit in the carpeted floor and enjoy collaborating together in a non-traditional space. My students need flexible seating that allows them to try a different approach to learning in an environment that feels right to them. Students who need a different work environment will love to sit in a different location within the classroom to learn. This also gives the students the opportunity to talk about ideas and work in small group together to enhance their learning. Having these lap desks will make a difference in the my students’ learning outcomes.
