My Students

We are striving to create leaders in our classroom. We are beginning the adventure of incorporating the aspects of The Leader in Me curriculum. I currently teach 2 classes of math, a total of 52 kids, along with my class of 26 kids in Writing, Spelling, Science and Social Studies.

Our kids love working cooperatively and creating wonderful projects.

Cooperative learning along with creating and reaching goals to help us succeed is a big part of our classroom. These kids are getting prepared to take their first State test and then move on to our intermediate building. Hard work and responsibility is at the heart of our school year.

My Project

Visual learners require visual equipment. Students love sharing projects and by incorporating this ELMO document camera, the kids will get a chance to create and share projects and assignments for the whole class to view on the big screen.

The ELMO will increase our presentation skills and give students the confidence to share projects.

Building students confidence is key at this grade level and with the help of generous donations my students will have an opportunity to share wonderful projects visually utilizing the ELMO Document camera with the whole class.

In writing we will display our published pieces as we read our stories. The ELMO Document camera will also allow us to share examples of different types of writing and in math we can share how we solved our problems.
