Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our students are happy, inquisitive, and very eager to learn. We constantly seek to engage them in new and innovative ways. Our staff works hard to make learning fun and at high levels on a daily basis. We are committed to providing a well-rounded education for our students.
Our mission is "To create a strong, safe community that will maximize our student’s education and inspire their curiosity to learn."
Students, staff and our community love our many traditions and celebrations. We want to prepare our children to be life-long learners and ensure success for their future. Our school is such a special place!
My Project
The Texas Computer Education Association or TCEA is an annual Convention and Exposition that unites teachers and leaders at all levels to collaborate and discover the best ways for engaging students in the classroom. It also empowers teachers to be innovative through the use of technology, which transforms learning. Participants will discover up to date resources and tools that engage students, enhance curriculum, and increase productivity. All will discover innovative strategies and best practices for integrating technology into classrooms, campuses, and libraries for district-wide success.
TCEA will equip me with the ideas and tools needed to provide innovation in all content areas.
We live in a technology-rich society and we must engage our students daily. Students are very tech-savvy and we must align our instructional practices to meet their increasingly diverse needs while catering to their interests. I want to provide experiences and lessons that incorporate technology in an innovative way.
After implementing the ideas learned at TCEA, students will be more engaged in their learning, show their creativity in new ways and think deeper about the content of each subject area. As a result, instructional delivery will be transformed and young learners will become creators, not just consumers.
