Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students come from very diverse backgrounds. I am teaching at a school that is almost 100% free and reduced lunch. No matter what they are dealing with at home, they are always at school with a smile and ready to learn. Many of my students struggle with completing homework because they do not have the necessary supplies and materials to complete it at home. They are excitied to learn and strive to meet all of the challenges that arise.
My Project
These materials will allow students to be successful. They will be able to complete any assignment or challenge that they are given. Some of these supplies will help to fortify the learning that is taking place. Students will be able to help create a classroom in which they feel valued and a part of the team. Students will be able to enhance their learning and build confidence towards helping others. The students will achieve better grades because they will have everything they need in order to be a Kid At Hope and experience success in all the challenges that they face. The students will be able to have a hands on approach in which to enhance their own learning and encourage others to do the same.
