Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My school is excited to begin using MIT app inventor 2 and the NFTE curriculum to teach our students to become entrepreneurs as they learn important 21st century computer coding skills in a professional environment, just professionals in the real world. Our students are motivated learners who are in need of learning spaces to seek help and discuss their code.
The goal is for the student to develop an app that launches a business or helps change the world.
Along the way they will learn to pitch their idea, develop they idea through pseudo code, crate a frame of their ideas, and code app that is executable on android devices immediately. Any help is appreciated!
My Project
These chair ball seats will be used as a “Coffee Corner”, or thinking spot to discuss their code projects. I am in the process of creating a creating a classroom that mimics the working space real world coding and software companies.
This will increase the students’ motivation and creativity as it will create multiple work spaces for pairs of students to plan, test, debug, and publish their projects.
This will also be utilized as areas to request assistance from me it they need any assistance.
Thank you for your support in creating the best possible learning environments for our students to succeed.
