Help me give my students a chance to explore the tech world with robots and tablets.

My students are eager and caring kids. They spend every day trying to make the best out of their situation. They all come from different and diverse backgrounds, which makes my class amazing. Although many of my students have heard the word no, they never give up. They are always working to improve themselves as well as their conditions.
Please help me make my students' dreams come true and allow them to see that there are good people out there advocating for their futures.
A few years ago, I spent time at a well-funded suburban elementary school. I fell in love with my resident teacher‘s robotics club. I jumped head first into the wonder of hands-on learning, collaboration and motivation these students had to learning and developing robots. I learned the ins and outs of how to run a successful robotics club.
It was in that moment, I realized that I wanted to give low income students the same opportunity.
Although, I have purchased a couple of robots (Spheros) for the classroom, my current tablet broke. I was told that it was be cheaper to buy a new one. Clearly, this person doesn’t know how much I spend on my class and two year old son. Unfortunately, I’m placed in a situation where I can no longer provide an enriching technological experience for my students.
The tablets you help fund will help my students develop and strengthen their love for coding and technology. It’s an opportunity for them to be exposed to something new and innovative. These tablets will help create a diverse group of students in the tech world. I know you hear the same sad stories but if you could observe my class for a day, you would see that I spend more than the $250 tax write off on my kids. I can’t do this alone and I rarely ask for help but I’m doing it on this very public and open space. Everything that I get on this site goes to my kids. I only want the best for them and if I have to ask for help, I will.
