My Students

My students come from a small rural community. We have small class sizes ideal for learning. They are energetic and love learning especially hands on.

Two years ago the 5th grade class started learning about coding.

We started off small. We purchased the Sphero RVR's because they offered the opportunities we were looking for. The students were engaged and excited about taking a hands on approach to coding. The excitement has grown between last year and this year. We need more of the Sphero RvR's to be more effective in the classroom with our in-person students.

My Project

The 5th grade students have been learning about coding for the last 2 years. We started off small and purchased 5 Sphero RvR's to use. The students really enjoyed working with them! They were engaged at all times trying to figure out new and excited ways to work with them.

We need more of the Sphero RvR's to make the classroom more effective.

Students are collaborating together in small groups on each of the projects. By purchasing 10 more RVR's, the in person students will be more engaged with their projects.
