Help me give my students experience with computer coding through the Ozobot. These devices inspire classroom creativity. Students will learn sequential thinking, logical reasoning, along with coding concepts.
I have the opportunity to work with a wonderfully diverse group of students. My classroom consists of a mix of different learning levels from diverse cultural backgrounds. I teach in a collaborative classroom, where general education students and special education students learn together. I am committed to teaching inclusivity, acceptance and kindness.
Each student comes to my classroom with unique needs and styles of learning.
It is extremely important to me to meet the needs of each of my students by incorporating engaging learning activities that address every learning style while maintaining a positive learning environment.
My Project
I would like a set of four Ozobot Robots for my classroom so that my students may engage in programming tasks. My students will learn hands-on coding while working on STEAM applications. Ozbot teaches a fun way to learn coding through play. These robots impower students to understand how technology can impact their lives.
Ozobots require students to apply their critical thinking skills as they program and collaborate together.
There are many benefits to coding such as an increase in logical thinking, problem solving, persistence, collaboration and creativity. I anticipate an increase in academic success as I allow my students to become innovators.
