Hello! I am a third grade classroom teacher from a Title I school with over 50% of the students qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch. I would describe my students as kindhearted and passionate learners who are very active! They enjoy moving around the classroom and appreciate positive attention and choices.
Many of my students come from homes and face challenges beyond their control.
I am looking for simple ways to help them become inspired and grow as learners. I want them to come to school and see a place that is safe, comfortable, and flexible enough to meet their needs.
My students love learning with technology! Osmo kits are a great way to engage students in reading and math to help with their computation and language skills.
The Osmo coding games will help teach my students important coding skills that are needed in today's technological world.
We plan on using these materials during small group time to encourage creativity and collaborative thinking among our students. When technology is added into the classroom, students automatically become more excited and invested in what they are learning. I can't wait to add these resources to my classroom to help my students grow as lifelong learners!
