My Students
My elementary school is made up of approximately 600 students in grades K-6. We are part of the S.L.R School District. These students visit the library once a week and are always eager to learn when they walk through the doors.
My school has approximately 600 students in grades K-6 who come to library class once a week.
Providing the students with Kindles will motivate them to read while incorporating technology. Using technology is something that the students at my school love to do.
My Project
Kindle Fire tablets will be used in the library by all students in grades kindergarten through six. These Kindles will be used to increase a student's education by incorporating technology into their lessons.
Kindles will allow students to learn about coding and to also participate in different STEAM Curriculum projects.
These tablets will go to great use in the library and will allow the students to be excited about their education. Students will use apps such as Scratch and Scratch Jr. to learn about coding and will hopefully take this knowledge to become lifelong learners in the technology fields. Thank you for considering this project!
