Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Many times in class students have already mastered the content before the teacher has taught the lesson. We are looking to broaden our students knowledge by increasing a variety of different skills to help them continue to learn and absorb knowledge within the school day even if they have mastered the content before it has been taught.

A lot of the students are very eager to code and experiment with new robots.

We will be implementing a time on Friday where students will be able to join a class to learn about coding.

My Project

As a teacher your goal is for every student in your class to grow and develop daily. There is small percentage of students that know the concept before you teach it. My goal is to take those students and help them still learn and grow while in school. We will start an extension class for students who have already mastered the content to learn how code. These drones will allow students to work on coding and complete task. Students will have an opportunity to meet with me weekly to work on learning how to code their drones to fly through obstacles.
