Help me give my students an opportunity to challenge themselves to use coding to program robots that will be able to perform real-life tasks.

This is a middle school setting for students who are in grades 6, 7, and 8. During the instructional day, students get 45 minutes to participate in educational activities that they are passionate about. This time is called Power Time. During this designated time, students can choose from a variety of clubs such as Girls Who Code Club, Art Club, Kindness Club, STEM Club, Gardening Club, Dance Club, and Music Club, etc. Every Friday, students celebrate Harambee, this is where the entire school assembles in the gymnasium to hear a guest speaker from the community share how they overcame challenges in life to achieve success.
Students live in a small community with a 100% poverty rate.
In, the last two years, students in this area have been affected by two natural disasters that have forced some families to relocate. Nevertheless, students have learned how to be resilient no matter what obstacle they may face.
The accessories that I would like to purchase for the Coding With Dash Project include the following: 3 xylophones, 3 grippers, and 3 launchers. This would allow students to learn how to program Dash, which is a robot, to do specific tasks such as play the xylophone, launch an object, and pick up an object. This would help students to enhance their coding skills and it would also make coding more relevant because students could see how manufacturing companies and other businesses utilize a robot to perform specific tasks in the real world and in the workforce. Students would activate their prior knowledge and skills gained from learning about coding and then they are going to use that information to challenge themselves to complete tasks that promote critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and collaboration skills.
