Welcome to our third grade co-teaching class. In a co-teaching classroom we can provide our students a high level of instruction while meeting the needs of individual learning styles and differences. Our third-grade class is in a school that has been honored to receive the 2017 National Blue Ribbon of Education Award. Our students and staff are very proud of this achievement. I truly believe we have fabulous students, teachers, staff, and parents.
We are always looking for ways to develop meaningful learning opportunities for our students.
Our co-teaching classroom provides our students a high level of instruction and enrichment while meeting the needs of individual learning styles and differences.
My Project
Botley the Coding Robot is a screen free robot to introduce my students to coding. Botley will be used as an enrichment center for STEM learning. It will also be used as a recess challenge because on inclement weather days, my students are often looking for something fun to do. Our budding coders can explore computer science while learning and meeting technology standards.
It is our hope that Botley the Coding Robot will inspire and excite our children in the area of computer science.
They will learn how to program Botley the Coding Robot to do simple tasks as well as more challenging ones.
