My Students

In the Gregory School District K-12 Library, I have the most wonderful children that love to learn. I love it when the K-5 students come in and are so excited to see what book we are reading next or what STEM project we will be doing on Fridays. Their enthusiasm continues to inspire me to want to be a better librarian.

My Project

The library has STEM/STEAM Fridays that correlate with our library story of the week. On the technology side of STEM, we would like to purchase robots that they can code. They will build a track and then code their Bee-Bot to run the track they have made.

The Bee-Bots will be used by K-5 students to code and learn problem-solving.

The STEM Friday activities will point students to a possible career in the future. The projects are designed to see what the students are interested in. GO STEM Fridays!
