My Students
My class is special because the students are from all walks of life. Also, this is such a diverse group and they learn so much from one another. I am working with a specialized program called personalized learning and students get to learn in a way that is best for them. So not all students are working on the same thing or in the same way. I have students who prefer technology while others need the teacher's guidance in a small group.
My Project
I will learn to use scratch jr that will help students code in an exciting way. Students will use tablets to create stories and pictures. This program is free and can be immediately used in my classroom. This resource will also help me to create fun and exciting reading and math lessons with activities. I will also practice with Kibo a very child-friendly robot that students can use in the class to enhance lessons. I will use the information to help students reach their goals in computer science this tool is very beneficial in today’s society. I’m extremely excited for this opportunity.
