My students need 4 Botley Robots and activity sets which will allow them to collaborate together on STEAM projects to problem solve and learn the basics of coding.
Welcome to our school with all of our amazing students! We are an inner-city school with over 540 PreK-6 grade students, all who receive free breakfast and lunch. Students keep thanking me for the new resources and supplies and I tell them it couldn’t happen without your support!
We are a STEAM school and my students need Botley robots to learn how to start coding and these robots will give them the opportunity to understand and apply the basic coding concepts.
I have been lucky enough to be teaching at the same school for 24 years and am grateful each and every day for my students.
My Project
My students would love the opportunity to experiment, explore, discover and have fun while learning how to code with Botley Robots and activity sets. Being a STEAM school, coding is an essential part of my curriculum and it is extremely important for me to have resources to show them all aspects of science, technology, engineering, arts and math.
Imagine all of the skills that you could learn if you had access to robots that you could program when you were in elementary school.
Not only would you learn coding skills but you would practice your problem solving and team building skills and also your communication skills while being engaged and actively learning.
I am eager and excited to provide such an amazing resource to my students. They will use the Botley robots, activity cards, interactive obstacles and coding games to learn the basics of coding and improve on their coding skills. Thank you for considering donating to our T and E in STEAM!!
