This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

The scholars in our second grade classroom all come from a very diverse background, both socioeconomically and culturally. Nearly all of the students come from a low-income household that cannot afford to purchase headphones and supplies throughout the entire year.

These young scholars come in every morning eager to learn in fun and exciting ways.

This class thrives on learning in new, fun and interesting ways! They really get the most out of learning when they can show off their knowledge in many different modalities.

My Project

These Sphero's will be a nice addition to the STEM center for my scholars. The amount of focus and learning these scholars have with these hands-on coding robots are truly amazing!

The coding aspect of the Sphero's are tremendous for these scholars not only right now but for their future careers!

This type of coding is crucial for the students during this time where there is so much technology in the world.

Since most of these scholars come from a very low income household this is an experience that they would most likely never be able to have outside of the classroom.
