Our school is a third through fifth-grade intermediate school, set in a small, rural town. Our school culture is very diverse. I am working with fifth graders this year. The students at our school are terrific kids. I pride myself on creating an environment where they are excited to spend their days. Our classroom theme is Superheroes! We will work every day to be "Super Improvers". It does not matter how high or low we are academically, we all need to grow!
My goal is to create a warm, loving, fun, cohesive learning environment that supports all children.
With these Chromebooks, students will be able to explore the world of coding and project-based learning. In today's day and age nothing excites them more than working with the technology and nothing excites them more than learning a new skill on the Chromebooks. Many students walk through the door very comfortable with all types of devices. Most of the time they are my own IT department. However, coding is a new world to them. With the help of Google and CS-First I have been able to open the doors of coding to these young eager minds. We will also be able to use Botley to use coding in a different way.
Your donations will allow students to learn a new skill that will be beneficial in the 21st century.
Chromebooks and Botley will give students new technology skills, enhance their math skills, and allow integration of many different subject areas.
