My Students
Working with eight and nine-year-olds every day is refreshing. They show up every day rain, snow, or crazy heat. They help each other to achieve and be successful. They have empathy for each other that is sometimes lost as we grow older.
This project will involve coding.
We love the Ozobots and would love to begin our journey into coding using these fun little robots.
I believe coding will be a big part of our future. Careers and many jobs will be focused around coding and these robots have peaked my curious little minds into learning more about coding.
My Project
My students and I had the opportunity to have a hands-on experience with coding and the Ozobots. Not only did I love them, so did my students! They were so eager to learn more about coding using these Ozobots. I also loved the fact that they were able to learn hands-on and without too much guidance from me. In today's world, coding has become key to future learning and jobs. The Ozobots are a great and exciting way for students to get motivated for coding. They get so into it that they forget that they are learning, and it is the skills they learn through play and self-discovery that stay with them the longest.
