My students need the opportunity to expand their learning into the ever changing world we live in. I want to provide my students with an introduction into coding by using Botley.

My Students

The Super Kids are excited about learning and love to come to school. We start our day with a warm and friendly greeting. Our morning meeting and whole group time are great starts to our day. I love to see my class working together and sharing their ideas.

I call them Super Kids, because they are.

My students are from a rural area. We are part of a small school that feels a lot like a family. They work and play together and are excited about each new activity. They make each day an adventure, and I'm proud to get to spend my days helping them learn.

My Project

Coding in the classroom is a wonderful way to introduce students to an aspect of computer science. These robots will help my Kindergarten students develop and early understanding of coding. It will also help build their critical thinking skills. I also hope to foster teamwork and collaboration.

Computer science should be accessible to students of all ages.

Botley the Coding Robot is the perfect way to bring computer science to younger students. Additionally, students will be immersed in an area that may influence them later on in their academic careers. I hope to utilize these robots for students now and in the future! The students will be so excited about this new learning opportunity.
