My students need several Wonder Workshop Dash and Dot robot packs, a Dash and Dot Wonder Pack, Ozobot bit packs, and Wonder Workshop accessories to learn basic coding.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

As teachers it is our job to light a fire that stokes the natural curiosity and motivation to learn that our 4th graders possess. STEM learning needs to be hands-on and engaging so students want to KEEP learning in this field.
We are a community of learners, thinkers, action-takers, and solution-finders.
Our students come from all over the world and as great of a variety of background experiences. Intrinsically enthusiastic learners and thinkers, they thrive on hands-on learning. Science is their favorite part of the day.
My Project
Every student in every school should have the opportunity to learn computer science. Exposing these students to the world of coding and programming will help them gain much needed skills for the future. They will see the power in creation. Writing code for and programming these robots will help our students to see that the possibles for what they can dream, create, and discover are endless.
The majority of our students will never have this opportunity without donations.Increasing diversity in computer science is important and we can achieve this by reaching students of all backgrounds where they are — at their skill-level, in their classroom, and in ways that inspire them to keep learning.
Learning computer programming can help kids develop problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. This opportunity will encourage them to be not only consumers of technology but also creators!
