Help me give my students materials, Bit Coding Robot, Code & Go Robot Mouse Activity Set and The App-Controlled Robot Ball to teach them the basics of coding and robotics.
Our classroom is full of excitement every day as we learn together. The students love hands on learning, exploration, discovery, and of course, movement. Every child in our classroom loves coming to school every day and they love learning; however the ways in which they learn can be very different. Our school represents a variety of cultural backgrounds, allowing for the sharing of traditions and values.
In the ever-changing world of education it is crucial we prepare our students for the future.
We use collaboration, critical thinking, creativity, and communication in everything we do. We love solving problems, using our creativity to create, and STEM activities. We are always creating something out of nothing and applying it to what we are learning.
These students are full of love, joy, and excitement for school and the world around them.
My Project
The students in my classroom love to explore and problem solve. They have so much determination when working on a difficult problem or situation. Seeing their face light up when it finally comes together is one of my favorite parts of using these resources.
It has become a reality that we are preparing our students for a future where the jobs have yet to be created.
My students have already shown so much enjoyment and growth through the use of Ozobots. We have linked curriculum and coding through the use of Ozobot activities while incorporating the 4C's of education. We will use the mini Sphero's to grow upon what we have learned with the Ozobots. We will create complex activities that will encourage collaboration and creativity for success. We will use the Stikbots to recreate stories we read in our literacy curriculum. They can also be used as a pictorial representation of their writing. The GoRobot Mouse and Botley the Coding Robot will promote problem solving skills and collaboration in the classroom.
My students have loved using the resources we have in the school currently, however we would like to try out new resources. Giving the students exposure to these products will continue to foster collaboration, creativity, communication, and critical thinking both in the classroom and community. With these products, I hope to foster critical skills and provide experiences to create life-long learners.
