My students need Ozobot Bit Coding Robots. Having students work on group projects around Ozobot fosters their ability to analyze, reason, and communicate ideas effectively as they pose, formulate, solve, and interpret solutions.

My Students
My students are so excited to enter middle school and participate in a "real" science class. These 11-12 year olds love to actively learn. My students learn best when they can explore science for themselves and participate in meaningful collaboration. Most of my middle school students love to talk. Through careful planning I can provide my students the opportunity to do just that, with guided inquiry based learning. The most heartwarming part for me is that each of my diverse students is given the opportunity to shine.
My Project
These Ozobots will allow 150 of my students to experience independent innovation through the STEAM process. My students will have an advantage by developing skills early on that have the potential to impact their future.
The National Science Foundation estimates that 80% of the jobs created over the next decade will require math and science skills.
Currently, there are more unfilled STEAM vacancies than qualified candidates. Jobs are now requiring workers to have a greater ability to critically work as a member of a team and work towards closing the gap between Americans and other countries. Ozobots for the win!
