My students are willing to think outside the box. They know that they are the future and hold the key to inventions that have not yet been made.
My students are creative, intelligent, and curious about the world around them.
They love to explore new ideas and research a variety of topics. Students from grades Kindergarten through Fifth Grade use the library. While the library is home to fantastic literature, I am trying to integrate more technology and STEM activities into my teaching.
My students are creative and thoughtful problem solvers. I am new to the Librarian position this year and I'm trying to diversify what our school's library has to offer to students, teachers, and families. Hundreds of students and teachers come into this space daily and utilize the books and computers. I would like to make our school's library even more beneficial. Coding is a skill that will interest many students. It promotes deeper level thinking and encourages students to think outside the box, persevere, and problem solve in ways that other activities cannot. The Little Bits Code Kit will help my students develop the critical thinking skills that they will need for other coding activities. It will teach them coding skills through fun and engaging games. My students love coding, and I'm excited to watch their abilities grow with the Little Bits Code Kit!
