My students need "Kids Get Coding" books to develop a literary connection to the world of coding and numerous hands-on coding and STEM games to realize the fun opportunities programming provides.

My Students

My elementary students represent such diversity in a variety of ways! They have different home experiences and different learning experiences, all of which have helped shape who they are today. My job this year as their teacher is to provide them with the best possible year to help further enhance their life experience!

This phenomenal group of kids deserve every possible chance to succeed!

We are a large, Title I school with many struggling learners who need unique opportunities that a traditional student may not require.

My Project

This year is the first opportunity our entire school will have to explore in our new Technology Learning Lab! I want to provide all my boys and girls with opportunities to experience hands-on STEM fun using both technology and other interactive experiences- like games and manipulative-based activities. They also need to continue to see the importance of literacy in their lives even in a technology-based setting and thankfully there are TONS of engaging reading materials all about coding and STEM fun.

Loads of excitement and a true love for learning and exploring is bound to develop when we unite incredible and informative read-aloud books with the fun of new games and STEM activities!

My students of all grade levels will be eager to hear about the possibilities that coding can offer and will be thrilled when they are able to play and program all by themselves!
