I absolutely adore my students! I have been a classroom teacher in my school district for six years and in the summers, I teach students in the English Language Development department. This past summer, I accepted a role as a gifted educator in two elementary schools. The students I serve have been identified as intellectually gifted and talented. They are hard-working, out of the box, creative children, who love an out of the box, flexible classroom.
The problem is...my students looooove coding!
We have used Google applications and apps on our iPads, but I have a group of students who love the individuality and creativity of LEGOs and love to code. I would love to combine these two passions!
My students are amazing youngsters who deserve to be comfortable while preparing to lead the world in a few short years!
We are requesting the LEGO Boost Creative Toolbox which is the perfect kit to help introduce my students to coding and robotics. My students can use the building blocks along with sensors, motors, and app-based coding to take our LEGO Club to the next level.
LEGO Boost Creative Toolbox will allow my students to build a variety of robotic toys that can respond to stimuli.
It is also a simple, fun, and relatively affordable approach that will teach these kids the principles of programming.
Please help my students' wish list come true! They have been begging me to buy this toolbox for our up-and-coming LEGO Club.
