My Students

It is wonderful that my students come from diverse backgrounds. These students are creative, hardworking and accepting of others. Many of them do not have the advanced tools at home to explore their intellectual interests. They look forward to being in the classroom because they are given the opportunity to explore!

It is so rewarding to see my students willing to take leadership roles to help each other explore their interests, especially in technology and STEM related fields.

The kids are able to use technology to show off talents they may not have had the opportunity to display before. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing my student's confidence grow as they collaborate!

My Project

These Ozobots will engage students in the classroom by providing current, hands-on learning. Science and technology will be integrated with a variety of other subject material in order to capture the interest of all students.

Middle School is a crucial age to involve students with technology and motivate them using something they are interested in.

Coding and collaboration will undoubtedly keep the students engaged and involved to produce the maximum effect size for knowledge acquisition. These Ozobots are not something that students would have access to at home. I would like to set my students up for success by having them begin using skills that will open doors for them in the future as early as possible.
