This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

T'was 3 days before holiday break and all seemed normal and that was my mistake. Suddenly, I was thrown off my game when asked if technology would be something I could tame. The transition to technology teacher has been a learning experience for my students and myself; however, we have all rallied around the idea of learning together as a unit. The middle schoolers I work with are learning to master code, while the elementary school students are learning to master Google Workspace.

In the month since I took over this position have I noticed that students struggle frequently utilizing the trackpad on their Chromebook and would benefit from a mouse.

The wireless mouse that I have selected for them to use will allow them to navigate the different menus and tools more easily and provide them with confidence in their computing abilities.
