My Students

As a technology teacher I see 500 students in Kindergarten-Fifth grade weekly. Our Title I school is located in rural East Tennessee. All of our students receive free lunch.

The kids love using different types of technology and are excited to learn.

They work hard and they are super excited to explore new ideas to to learn new skills.

My Project

I am requesting a classroom set of Botley 2.0 robots. Technology is changing daily. Coding has become an important part of many jobs. We are a Title I school so many of our kids do not have exposure to robots outside of school. The Botley 2.0 coding robots will give the students hands on opportunities to code robots and help the students to collaborate and develop critical thinking skills necessary to achieve foundational skills in coding. The Botley 2.0 coding robots will be used with students in Kindergarten, First Grade, Second Grade, Third Grade, Fourth Grade and Fifth Grade.
