My preschoolers are excited to learn and learn best through play and interactive experiences. I make sure all students feel accepted, loved, and valued. As a teacher in a high poverty school, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom.
Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking to provide my students with an environment that promotes a love for learning through play.
I would love to offer my students the materials needed to foster learning and imagination through play!
My Project
Can you please help my class meet Botley, the robot, and code for fun? Botley, the robot will introduce coding in an easy, friendly way to my Pre-Schoolers. My students as young as 4 can learn to code with Botley, and with his advanced features, he'll grow with my students for many play-filled experiences in the classroom in years to come! Botley is different than most robots as he is ready to use right out of the box – he’ll have my Pre-schoolers coding in minutes. And that’s not all, Botley is 100% screen free and includes a 77-piece activity set – the only robot to offer that! This will be amazing to not need a tablet, phone or other device to code Botley.
Please help my students learn early STEM skills while playing and having fun!
My students love learning and are very curious about programming and coding.
Botley can do so many neat things that will teach my students valuable 21st Century and STEM skills. Botley can detect objects, move around things, follow looping commands, navigate obstacle courses, follow black lines and he also has additional hidden features that my students can unlock!
Botley is perfect for my students because he teaches the basics of coding through active play, completely screen free. Botley is perfect for promoting critical thinking and problem-solving skills in the Pre-School classroom!
