My Project

My kindergarteners are naturally curious, creative, and full of wonder. They love getting their hands dirty while exploring the world around them, and they thrive when learning is hands-on and engaging.

By combining gardening and coding, this project will inspire my students to become problem-solvers, critical thinkers, and innovators—growing both plants and their STEM skills at the same time!

The gardening tools, gloves, watering cans, and hose will allow my students to plant, care for, and observe the growth of a classroom garden, helping them develop responsibility and an appreciation for nature. The Botley Coding Robots and Code & Go Mouse activity sets will introduce them to foundational coding concepts in a fun, screen-free way, encouraging critical thinking and sequencing skills. The storage bins will keep our materials organized and accessible, making it easier for students to take ownership of their learning.

Through this project, my goal is to nurture a love for STEM by showing students how technology and nature can work together. My students are special because they bring joy, enthusiasm, and limitless potential to every learning experience, and with these resources, they will gain the skills and confidence to explore, create, and innovate!
