My Students

I am a teacher in a low-income school district where my students are faced with challenges both in and out of the classroom. I love to give my students meaningful and creative ways to learn.

Due to their low-income situations, the students I teach are unable to participate in life experiences that other students their age have experienced.

However, while in my classroom, students are given the opportunity to grow and learn in an enriched environment. My goal is to guide students to a path of academic excellence.

My Project

My students are learning all about coding! We have been working to incorporate more coding activities into our curriculum through the use of coding robots. I feel certain that even my learners who are very uncomfortable learning code will be successful using these fun robots!

We have used these robots before and they were a big hit in my classroom.

There are many ways I incorporate them in my classroom such as using them with books or having students use them in small groups.

We do not own any and are always borrowing them. Having a classroom set would be wonderful! Any donation to our project my students and I appreciate from the bottom of our hearts!
