Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Everyone has a story to tell, and my class tells a unique one. My students come from a diverse and difficult backgrounds that can sometimes make it very hard to come to school and learn. The daily dedication of my students continues to blow me away. Each student that comes into my classroom becomes part of a family. As a family, we develop a bond that lasts far beyond the school year. We operate as a family and treat one another as family. If someone falls down, we gather around to lift them up.
We are a group of children with an unquenchable thirst to learn.
Every student counts and every moment matters. It is our mission to ensure that not a moment is wasted. We are the Lions! Hear us roar!
My Project
Students need to stay warm! Staying warm means having a quality coat. The students who walk into my classroom do not always have a nice warm coat. I want to surprise my students with a brand new winter coat! It is a basic need to have the clothing that is necessary to stay warm in the winter.
This project will ensure that my students are staying warm this winter.
Many of my students are wearing coats that have been handed down from older siblings or coats that are too small. I want to surprise them with a brand new coat of their very own!
