Clutter in the Classroom....Clutters the Mind!

My Students

My students are 7th graders who fall extremely below grade level in basic skills in reading and math. My students are truly ambitious and want to learn, but they become easily discouraged because they are so far behind their peers.

Our school is in a Title I funded school in Mississippi, and some of my students do not have access to the technology and resources they need at their homes.

Although my students face difficulties every day, they are still eager to come to school to get the best education they can in order to be successful in life.

My Project

Last year our class was rewarded with Chromebooks from donorschoose.org donations. We use these Chromebooks to access reading programs that help students bridge the gap in their reading deficiencies.

The Chromebooks are scattered on the counter with plugs everywhere.

Having a charging station for Chromebooks with greatly assist with the clutter. Special Education students are easily distracted and some days our Chromebooks do not get plugged in because students don't want to take the time to search through the pile of plugs to find one to put into the computer.

My students would be most appreciative to have a tidy place for their Chromebooks to charge.
