Mrs. Davis from Statesboro GA is requesting reading nooks, desks & storage through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need the Round Kids Color table, rolling cart with organizational bins, and metal stools to help keep our classroom as neat and clutter free as possible!

My students are full of life! Once they set foot into our classroom, they become part of a family - my family. Our school is full of students who have a passion for learning and growing. I want my students to have a learning environment that makes them feel comfortable and fits their learning styles. I work in a Title I elementary school where the majority of the students qualify for free or reduced price lunch. My students come from various backgrounds and have various learning styles and needs.
I want to create a learning environment that will allow my students to express their individual learning styles and creative energy!
These students are like my children. I want to do everything I can to help them know that they can - and will - succeed in school.
I would LOVE to have a round table in my room so that I could create more movable space for my students and I to work and learn in. Having a large number of students means more individual desks, which then leads to clutter and chaos. This is not a good learning environment!
I would love to create a more organized space for my students to learn and grow in that are not only functional for our small classroom, but also gives students more of a chance for collaborative learning.
Being able to move freely around the room without bumping into a desk or chair, will give students the opportunity to discuss certain topics with one another, ask for help when needed, and, hopefully, will lead to an active learning process.
