This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Project
We are a large high school in the citv of Philadelphia serving 1100 students. Our program provides mental health support as well as resources to all of our students.
We strive to provide services and resources to our students without any barriers and we do with this without any additional funding. Many of our students are in need of basic items and are uncomfortable or embarrassed to ask. Our office supplies these items with no hesitation.
Our clothing closet and hygiene pantry has been build from scratch and we are looking for support in replenishing items so that we can continue to provide our specialized services and upholding the dignity of our community.
