My students need basic supplies to get through the year! They need pencils, a pencil sharpener, paper, dry erase boards with markers and other classroom supplies to keep us organized and engaged.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I am excited to meet my students this year! I work at a Title 1 school and this can come with resource and environmental challenges. I want to provide enough resources in my classroom so every student can have an extraordinary education! My students are 7th grade mathematicians who are ready to excel. They are excited to learn and I want them to have a great experience. I love that my students do not let their circumstances define them. They are special because they go through their own individual problems at home and else where, but still come to school ready to work.
My Project
My students need basic supplies to dive into content. They need to be able to be engaged by writing notes and completing activities, without fear of not having what they need. These kids need a quality education with resources and supplies to succeed. This will make a difference in their learning because they will be more engaged when they actually have supplies to engage with. Paper and pencil will go to school students in need. The pencil sharpener will be necessary. Students love whiteboards so I have ordered tons of expo markers so students can have a chance to engage with the board.
