Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our school strives to find the leader in all of our scholars. Every child has capabilities, talents, and strengths; sometimes, all it takes is exposure or motivation. The students in my class strive for excellence. They all inherently care about one another and continually make an effort to improve in all aspects.
They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions!
They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
I teach 2 sections of 3rd grade math, science and social studies. Our scholars come from all different backgrounds and economic status. Our school is a Title I school, and about 90% of our scholars are ESL students.
My Project
The Gift card from Teachers pay Teachers will help buy resources to help continue to close the learning gaps my students are currently facing due to the pandemic. The Math manipulative will give an opportunity for my students who have different learning styles an opportunity to learn their way.
My students have been working extra hard this year.
They have become multiplication masters, scientist who are filled with curiosity, and researchers who want to learn more about the world and what it has to offer. I am doing my best to lay a solid foundation that will help them become great leaders.
