We are a country school in rural Florida. My Kindergarten class is high energy. All my students get free breakfast and lunch. I have a variety of students including ESL and ESE students.
We love learning!
Each morning, I am greeted with lots of smiles and hugs. Learning begins at that moment. We keep the lessons going throughout the day including lots of hands-on learning and music. We have reading and math centers each day using lot of games and activities.
My Project
My students need white boards to do reading, writing, and math, towels to erase the boards, markers to write on white boards, and Clorox wipes to clean up afterwards.
We love writing!
In Kindergarten, we are constantly learning. Using white boards will help reinforce reading, writing, and math. We can use them in whole group or small groups and in centers. A lesson is to have students write dictated words, sounding out the words to figure out how to write them. Also, they could draw pictures about a story. We could do math problems, too. I am so excited about getting white boards for my students.
