Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am the school nurse for about 600 students in an urban school that is in a Title I district. Our students are full of life and compassion at an elementary school.
Our campus services classes for students pre-k 3-year-olds to the fifth-grade level.
In our diverse student body, I see on average 45 to 50 children a day for various reasons in the clinic. We are currently in need for a larger Diaper Genie and clinic restroom storage cabinet.
My Project
This is a follow up project to my much needed Diaper Genie for the clinic. I absolutely love the tabletop pail for the changing table area, but found that it is difficult to move the diaper pail from location to another location without sitting it on the floor.
I have found that that I am also in need of another diaper pail to be kept in the restroom.
The Diaper Genie gets a lot of use throughout the day and I am afraid that moving it several times a day, will wear it out sooner. For this reason, I am wanting a larger stationary pail to be placed in the restroom. I would also like to have a larger storage cabinet to store items like wipes and diaper genie refills.
