My Students

My classroom is composed of 3 and 4 year old student with special needs. The school that I work in is a Title I campus and I want to create a fun learning environment for my students.

I want my students to have an engaging environment that promotes cognitive and physical learning.

The students have a variety of disabilities that require various teaching modalities to ensure learning and engagement. The students are kind and helpful to each other and I see the joy each day in their interactions with one another.

My Project

My classroom is a special education room for Pre-Kinder students. The students have a variety needs, but most are behind their peers in reaching age appropriate motor skills. I would like to have the Tot Tunnel Climber to have the students build these necessary skills.

The students need access to this type of material in order to reach developmental milestones, that they need in order to meet grade level expectations.

The classroom is where we spend most of our day and the students need to be physical active through out the school day. This helps the students maintain focus on academic assignments while developing motor skills. I want my students to enjoy learning and grow each day.
