Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I teach Pre-K in Aransas Pass, Texas. Last year our community was hit by Hurricane Harvey. Our community is still recovering from the storm.
We are a Title I school district.
Many of the students come from low income homes.
Our students are very eager to learn despite their disadvantages.
The students love Clifford. Having a Cifford Scholastic magazine of thier own would make them feel special.
This profect is for the whole Pre-K grade level and will benefit around 100 students.
My Project
The students enjoy reading Clifford storybooks. Having the Clifford's Schloastic News magazines will provide a fun way to learn about a variety of topics throughout the year. The magazine is colorful and kid friendly. By having Clifford on the cover the kids will be instantly drawn to the magazine.
Every student will be able to take home their own copy to share with their families.
The Clifford's Big Worl Scholastic Magazine will give the students a variety of print and reading opportunities. The magazines are a great way to enrich our reading curriculum in Pre-k.
The colorful pictures and interesting topics will keep the students engaged.
