Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have been looking for a way to keep students interested and engaged during math class, and I think I have found the answer! Activote individual response clickers will be able to keep my students engaged and provide needed feedback. Wherever I teach I know that these tools will allow me to help my students achieve at higher levels. To be able to use the Activote response clickers I will also need the Activote Hub.
Students in my class are from many diverse backgrounds including IEP and Limited English Proficiency. Everyday they come to school eager and ready to learn. Their drive to succeed inspires me to work hard to help them do just that!
Activote Response Devices will equip my students with a personal response unit, or "clicker", for answering questions that I pose. After I ask the question the class will have time to response and instant results will appear. I can then take this data and see which topics need to be retaught. In addition, Activote response clickers will make sure that all students are participating. Activote clickers will also provide me with valuable information on my students' understanding of concepts and allow me to adjust activities based upon student responses. I have also requested a few math manipulatives, which will allow my students to take learning into their own hands.
