My Students

Do you want to help the environment while helping military students learn? If you do, you will see the importance of a Student Response System in a classroom. This unique system helps learning while being environmentally friendly. During these tough economic times, this system will also save money.

I teach 4th grade students at a low income military school for the Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, Army, and Marines in South Carolina.

These children are bright and eager to learn and face the possibility of a parent being deployed at any given time. Sometimes this makes them a little less focused in the classroom, and I would like my students to take an active role in their learning with the use of “clickers” while having fun learning. This interactive technology will help involve all students in the lessons while capturing their attention and imaginations. Our school budget has been drastically cut and there will be no extra money to buy needed supplies. These children deserve the best education possible.

My Project

The Got It! Interactive Wireless Student Response System is a comprehensive educational technology for the classroom environment. Got It! brings the interactive functionality of the computer to the classroom environment. A single computer is all that is required to run the program per room. Clickers or student responders can be used in all subjects in a classroom. They can also be used for reviews and remediation as needed. This will result in higher standardized test scores. Student Responders will allow me to create tests and questions by a click of a button saving precious classroom time. It will also allow me to see student responses immediately, allowing me to focus in on problems sooner and with more accuracy while students are having difficulty.

As a teacher, I am constantly looking for ways to bring excitement into learning.

My students need Student Responders to help add excitement to the classroom. The Responders will be used in all subjects on a daily basis and will help to improve learning while adding fun to the classroom experience.
