This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I have been teaching for 9 years, and I work in a school that is about 80% free and reduced lunch. Our school does what is best for the students to grow and learn. With techonology growing rapidly we need more computers in our school!

We do not have enough computers for students to use daily or even weekly.

With state testing moving to all computer base this puts my kiddos at a disadvantage! We need more computers to help kids learn to type, practice reading on a screen versus on paper, and typing their thoughts into a complete paragraph.

Please help me reach my goal of having computers in my room for my kids to learn.

My Project

" Okay students open up your computer, log in, and open up your assignment in Google Classroom to complete and turn in." This is a quote I can dream about saying with my students. With our new Chromebooks students will be able to use technology DAILY! This is huge in today's classroom. Most standardize test and progress monitoring test are done on computers.

My students do not have access to a computer daily.

This is an unfair advantage for them. New computers in our room for them to use during stations or lessons will be a new game changer for them!
