This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
These are our most treasured years. Let's capture them so we will never forget.
My students are amazing, hard working, and very caring.
I teach sixth through eighth grade students in a school that is extremely diverse as well as struggles with poverty. Our school is an alternative school and we care about each and every student and teacher that enters our building. We are very proud of our school.
My Project
My students will learn how to use the digital cameras to capture special moments at school. They will learn how to upload the pictures and edit them, to be used in the creation of a school yearbook. My students will also learn writing, designing, and computer skills. They will also gain pride in their hard work.
Creating a yearbook, would benefit the school by helping build a positive atmosphere.
Our school thinks of itself as a family. Having a yearbook to capture all of our treasured moments, will help our school continue to grow as a family. This project will make a difference for the students who join yearbook, as well as for the entire school.
