Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I teach instrumental and Orff music classes in an urban public elementary school to kindergarten through 5th grade students. Nearly 50% of my students are low income.

The position and room used accommodates two different instrumental approaches to teaching music. Due to this fact, a large amount of instruments and music stands clutter the room.

In order to facilitate the safe use of the room, management of all the equipment must be handled quickly and easily. The "Rack and Roll" Storage Cart would allow a safe way to clear the music stands from the floor so the younger students can play the Orff instruments.

Your donation will ensure a safe environment for all of my students to learn. With overcrowding in our schools, the stand rack will not only aid classroom transitions, but will also teach the students the responsibility of taking care of all their equipment.
