My Students

The students at our middle school come from every walk of life. We have inner city students, as well as an ELL program, along with a population of students from all over Manchester.

Our ELL program has students from every corner of the world.

These students have different levels of education, depending on their country of origin and their experience getting to the United States. The classes are full with both girls and boys of all different cultures, academic and economic levels, making for a great learning environment.

My Project

The existing white board is approximately 10 years old and will not erase well. It causes shadows to appear behind the written content, in-turn making the board difficult to read. The new board will allow students in the back of the classroom to see the content on the board.

A new board will will make the students experience in the wood shop a better place to learn and allow them to enjoy the class.

Also any vision impaired students will also benefit from a clean and clear surface. The larger surface will allow the instructor to leave material on the board for a longer period of time.
