Cleanliness Is Power

Help me give my students an opportunity to stay in a healthy and safe classroom with the right supplies. These supplies will be used to clean the room as well as give the students a healthy snack option.

My Students

My students are amazing. Many of them want to be entrepreneurs and start their own businesses. We work together to learn how to market ourselves and products. In order to be successful, I ensure that my classroom stays stocked with supplies for them.

My Project

My students often come to my classroom hungry. They are given funded meals through the school, but many do not eat. The vending machines that are available to students are unreliable and most students cannot afford them. They struggle to concentrate when they are focused on eating or drinking. Some kids ask for a package of crackers to take home with them so they have something to eat at home. I try to make sure to have foods that are healthy and contribute to their daily nutrition. Allergies are also a huge issue as well, having the cleaning supplies will make a huge impact on keeping students here during this pandemic.
